Create UTM Report

You can track marketing and advertising campaign performance directly in your TicketReach account using UTM codes and UTM reports. To create a new UTM Report, select UTM REPORTS from the REPORTS section in the sidebar of your TicketReach user dashboard.

The All UTM Reports page opens.

Any UTM reports that you’ve created in your TicketReach account will appear in a list on this page. Note that if your TicketReach account is connected to your AttendStar account, all of your current and new UTM report data will be synced between both accounts.

To create a new UTM report, select the CREATE REPORT button. The Create New Report dialogue box opens.

Only the Event and Report Source fields are required to create a new UTM report, but it’s recommended that you enter as much data as possible into the available fields to create a comprehensive report.

The fields available to create a new UTM report are:

  • Event: Use the drop-down menu to select an event the UTM report should be associated with.
  • UTM Report Name: Enter a name for your new UTM report that is 50 or fewer characters.
  • Report Source: Enter where the UTM code has been or will be used. For example, if the UTM code is appended to a link in one of your TicketReach email campaigns, enter “Email Campaign” or the specific email campaign name in this field.
  • Campaign Medium: Enter the medium where the UTM code has been or will be used. For example, if the UTM code is appended to a link in one of your TicketReach email campaigns, enter “Email” in this field.
  • Ad Spend: If the UTM code is used as part of a paid advertising campaign, enter the amount to be spent on the campaign in this field.
  • Campaign Term: Enter a term to identify the specific paid keyword, search term, or targeting rule (like audience segments or ad groups) that triggered a user to click an ad and visit a website.
  • Campaign Content: Enter text to identify an ad or campaign variation to track the performance of A/B split tests.

When you’re done entering information, select the CREATE REPORT button to create your new UTM report.

The UTM report will now display in the All UTM Reports list in your TicketReach dashboard. You can click on the report in the list to view performance data as it’s tracked.
